Laura, Javan and beautiful little Esme Kiera

I was so excited for Laura, Javan and Esme’s session. Being good friends with Laura it was a little bit special to photograph friends. They are just fabulous people and it was a great excuse to meet up after quite a long time, and squeeze some cuddles in with Esme! :)

They travelled down from Anglesey on the morning and we were praying for no rain!Luckily Laura had picked a good day so we were chuffed to bits I could say!

The Sparks family were keen for me to choose a location for their session as they trusted my completely 100% to produce photographs they would love. I had invisioned Esme in daffodils and pretty flowers and colours being the sweet beautiful girl she is and Laura and Javan love the outdoors and not being many National Trust places in their area I decided Chirk Castle gardens would be a stunning spot, I’d been with the hubby the week before the session and the gardens were swimming with daffodils, unfortunately not many blossoms this year. But I also found a gorgeous little patch of bluebless near a lovely hanging tree so also made good use of this.

Esme quickly got into the session and had us all giggling and even children passing by wanted to play her because she is such a happy girl.

Laura and Javan were a little nervous when I asked them to join in, but with Esme’s easy going personality being a happy mummy and daddy came easy.

We had a lovely picnic with together and enjoyed company and silliness. We had a lovely walk around the forest and took some beautiful earthy shots with lots of logs and I think all of the colours look great together.

Here’s what they had to say:

We chose to use Jade as we were familiar with her work and knew we could trust that we would end up with an end result that we loved. We planned the session at Chirk Castle, I let Jade decide the location as I knew she knew the area and would pick something with amazing scenery, she didn’t disappoint! The sun shone and we managed to get some amazing shots.  Esme was just about to turn one and she was so responsive which helped the shots too, Jade’s husband was also very entertaining dancing around behind Jade, well at least that’s what Esme thought!
I wanted the shoot mainly of Esme but Jade helped us to relax so that we joined in too and I am really glad she encouraged us to get involved as we now have a really lovely family portrait.
It was a brilliant day, brilliant location and we ended up with some brilliant photos from a beautifully talented lady.

Thank you for choosing me to capture your family. :)

Love you guys xx
